Becoming Part of Our Sisterhood

AOII is currently looking for intelligent, motivated women who wish to improve both their campus and the surrounding community. We are looking for individuals who excel academically while being active in service projects, professional organizations, or team activities.

Concerns

I won't have enough time to study if I'm in a sorority.

Although it may be fun to go to as many innertube water polo matches, mixers, and Movie Nights as you can, we understand that our sisters have lives outside of AOII. We also have an Academic Development program, which serves to ensure sisters excel academically, providing help to students who may be struggling, while rewarding sisters who get "Alpha A's".

My parents don't want me to join a sorority.

Joining AOII is an excellent opportunity for any woman. You have the ability to run for a position, providing leadership training as well as building confidence. Sisters participate in service events, donating time, effort, and money to our causes, as well as supporting the philanthropic efforts of other groups on campus. Most sisters' GPAs have increased since they became involved with our sorority. AOII does not haze, and will never haze. Why would we want to hurt our future sisters?

What are your concerns?

If you have a question or concern about joining our house or any house, please let us know! Email our VP Recruitment, Debbie.
